History

Founded in 1896, and originally called Newcastle Ladies Hockey Club. The club was renamed Newcastle Hockey Club in 2002 and we are based in the city centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. Our home ground is at Centre for Sport, West Road, Newcastle.

Our Teams

We run 4 senior ladies teams who compete in the Northumberland Women's Hockey Leagues and North Women's Hockey League. We have junior ladies team who compete in the Harper League. We also run a men's team who compete in the North East Men's League.

Kit

Our club colours follow the traditional "black and white" of Newcastle United FC. We play in white shirts, black skirts with black and white socks. To order some NHC kit, use the form in our downloads section and bring it along to training. If you are new player and do not have NHC kit - don't fear we have spare NHC tops at each match.

The clubs Home kit consists of White Shirt, black skirts and black socks with white tops.
