How much does it cost to join?

E-mail Print PDF

A full breakdown of costs for this season are available in our Subscription and Match Fees within the Joining section. These costs are based upon players joining the club at or near the beginning of the season (which runs mid-August to April). Where players are joining at an advanced stage of the season, joining fees are calculated on a pro-rata basis.

It's part-way through the season - can I still join?

E-mail Print PDF

Training is finished for the 2009/10 season and will restart with fitness training in July 2010. Dates will be available later in the summer.

We welcome new players all season long. It's ideal to join early in the season (August/September) to ensure you get to play at the right standard, however you will still get games and plenty of training if you join us once the season is underway.

The season generally runs from mid-August (pre-season friendlies) to early April depending on what the great British weather decides to do!

Throughout the season we have training, matches and social events. Out of season, we do high-intensity fitness training and we also get involved in mixed-hockey sessions held at our club base - The Centre for Sport.

Newsflash

Men's training takes place every week at Westgate on Mondays from 7pm until 830 pm.

Hugh, the men's captain is happy for any of the ladies players to attend any session. Throught the season some squads will be having additional sessions using some of the pitch space, captains will be letting players know.

I have also been asked by Hugh to canvass any ladies players that may want to play for the men's league team on weekends as their league allows females to play. If you want to help support the mens section and get to know some of the players this is the perfect opportunity!

Please contact Hugh directly or I can pass on details of anyone interested, just get in touch!

Thanks

Sarah
