Last Training Session of 2009/10 Season

Wednesday, 24th March 2010 will be the last hockey training session for Juniors and Adults of the 2009/10 season.

Although training will be finished, the hockey season has not yet ended. On Saturday April 24th 2010 we have the Club's End of Season Awards evening and also our 3rd XI are taking part in the playoff tournament for the Shield. On Wednesday 28th April, we have our club AGM at Benwell Hill Cricket Club which we really do encourage every one to attend. It gives you the opportunity to vote on next year's committee members, to reflect on the season and to shape improvements to your club for next season.

We hope you have enjoyed this season's hockey and are coming back for more in late summer. The website will be updated in early July with next season's fitness and training dates so do keep checking for updates.


As mentioned, the 3rd XI will be taking part in a playoff tournament on Saturday 24th April  and also both our 1st and 4th XI teams are still competing in cup competitions. Crofty will arrange some ad-hoc training sessions after Easter to help teams prepare for these competitions so if this affects you, keep an eye on the website and contact your captain for more details.
