COACHING PHILOSOPHY: To provide the best coaching I can for all participants from fourth team through to first team. For the players to work hard, but enjoy their training sessions and matches. To be humble when things don't go right on the training field. To nurture, encourage and push, when necessary, to give the players the skills required to compete at the highest level, and for them to be the best players they can be. To be here for all of my girls.

I LIKE: Hard training sessions; commitment; 100% effort; happy faces after a good performance; jaffa cakes at half time!

I DISLIKE: Too much chattering at training (Discuss The X Factor before we start!!!); lack of commitment; injuries; excuses; disappointed faces; that we don't have oranges at half time any more!

BEST MOMENT(S) IN HOCKEY: Coaching with Sean Kerly; being tutored by Malcolm Wood and Simon Mason; qualifying at Level 3; getting the job as assistant coach for North of England U16 girls.

THINGS TO LOOK FORWARD TO: Newcastle 1s winning the A league with the 2s in second place, and Newcastle 3s winning the B league with the 4s in second place.
