field-hockey-sticksTraining will restart on 17th August 2011

Training sessions are held every Wednesday. They take place at our home ground - Centre for Sport, Westgate Road.

NEW TRAINING TIMES
3rd and 4th team Squads - 7pm - 8.15pm (6.45pm - 7pm warm-up)
1st and 2nd team Squads - 8.15pm - 9.30pm (8pm - 8.15pm warm-up)
All squads must be READY start training at the times listed above and so all players should arrive 15 minutes before their start time to warm up. Stick and ball training with Wils will start at 8.15pm PROMPTLY for 1s/2s and 7pm for 3s/4s and so shin pads etc need to be put on BEFORE the warm up starts.

1s/2s players who wish to discuss matters with the captains will have the opportunity from 7.45 - 8pm. The captains will not be staying after 9.30pm to deal with anything, therefore if players have anything they need to discuss they should be there for 7.45pm.
In contrast, the 3rd and 4th team captains will often be available both at the end and prior to the start of the 7-8.15pm session. 3s/4s players need to arrive at 6.45 at the latest to ensure they are fully warmed up and kitted for a prompt start at 7pm.

The season runs from mid-August to March/April with a break at Christmas.

We have several coaches who work across the 4 senior ladies' squads and the goal keepers.

Players of all standards are welcomed and at any stage of the season so what are you waiting for! If you are new to the club then please come along to the 7pm -8:15pm training session initially.
